    Default Burglar Shot and Killed

Sounds like an employee needs a Christmas bonus. I am sure this is very tough for this employee as nobody wants to kill a person but he/she did what needed to be done. One less career criminal in Maryland this Christmas.

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/bre...,1937389.story

He told police that an intruder broke into the business while he was there, and during an altercation inside, the intruder was shot, police said. The intruder ran out of the building and collapsed, police said. Paramedics were called, and the man was pronounced dead, according to police.

Police identified the dead man as Byron Keith Phillips, 30, of Chester. The employee's name is not being released, and police indicated he is cooperating with police. It was not clear if the employee was an owner or manager.

Good. I hope other predators think twice before trying the same. If they want to steal, they can run for office in MD.

Live like a thug, die like a thug.

Glad to hear the store employee is safe and will go home to his family.

Glad to hear the thug is dead and will not.

I am never glad to hear anyone is dead. I am glad the good guy won but I don't take pleasure in the criminal's death.

The guy made a bad choice to engage in high-risk criminal behavior that sometimes leads to death. I made the decision a long time ago to avoid that type of behavior. So far, it's worked out for me.

I don't get pleasure in a persons death but I do pleasure when good prevails.

This is fabulous! The employee who did this should get a huge bonus.
This sort of self defense needs to happen more often.

I heard he was shot in the back running from the business. I guess the employee was trying to keep him there until the police arrived.

If thats the case good luck trying to get 12 people to covict.
Great job by the shooter, it's really difficult to hit a moving target.
The question that needs to be asked is why was this criminal not in prison? His blood is on the liberals hands because if they kept him in a cage where he belonged instead of giving him 20 chances he would still be alive.
