I like to know who votes for this thing. He is probably having one or one of the worst years he has ever had and makes the pro bowl. Just curious to what you think?

Sure why not? It's a popularly contest and Ed Reed is very popular.
Do the players have a vote?
In some cases, maybe a player doesn't really have to "do" anything to be valuable-- I don't know if Reed is still at that level, but he sure used to-- kind of like Deion Sanders when he was in his prime- I mean if a player just causes an offense to simply not use a portion of the field due to his presence, I think that's pretty valuable.
It's good for the collective star power that will be advertised as being there to draw more fans to the event....
Meh, Pro Bowl..... who cares? Even less of a game than the All Star.![]()
If anyone needs even further proof of the idiocy of the Pro Bowl, it's Ed Reed making it. That just about sums it up. Comical.
Yes..
statically speaking absolutely not. He can't tackle with that bad shoulder any longer. He's lost a step or two and is guessing more and more to compensate for it. And getting burned more.
Having said that,
The NFL Pro Bowl voting is no different than the MLB All Star voting. Undeserving players make it all the time. It's called Fan Favorites right ?
I'm okay with it
I couldn't care less who makes or doesn't make the pro bowl. Haven't watched that farce of a game in years
Absolutely not.
Just like baseball...some players make it on past performance, others popularity and still others on having an outstanding year. Yes on Ed Reed!
