C'mon, in what ways? Get specific.

Criminals and illegal guns can easily cross State lines so it's important that States and the Federal government work together on gun control and enforcement.
Oh, maybe like federal checkpoints for guns at the borders of each state? Every vehicle gets searched?

    That idea is so wimpy.

I strongly suggest that the federal government re-opens FDR's Japanese Concentration camps.

Then Place the entire US population in there.

Or better yet, Americans can be lobotomized at birth.

    Crime might be substantially reduced.

    As always, Heil Hitler.

There's lots more that can be done policy-wise.

I don't accept the idea that our laws and enforcement need no improvement. That's ridiculous

Public policy has reduced traffic fatalities and public policy can reduce gun fatalities

You know this how? Do you own a weapon, have you ever been in LE, (no, being arrested doesn't count) are you a ballistics expert, do you have an FFL, do you prefer the American Hunter over the American Rifleman or 1st Freedom and are you a hunter? You no doubt are qualified to make such an assumption.
