    Default Frederick Shooting Arrests

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/mar...0,198764.story

Cory Aaron Nowalk, 17, of Frederick, was located by police at his home on Wednesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of being an accessory to a first-degree assault and with illegally transporting a handgun, police said.

Police say detectives investigating the shooting determined Nowalk helped Dylan Gray, 17, also of Frederick, hide the handgun used in the shooting in the days following it. Nowalk admitted his involvement and led detectives to the gun, which another person allegedly was involved in hiding as well, police said.

Gray was arrested shortly after the shooting on his street, which police said occurred following an argument between Gray and a 16-year-old male acquaintance. Gray allegedly shot the boy in the chest, according to police, and has been charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and two gun charges.
Wow. Stupidity and violence hand and hand.
I guess for every tough case out there the cops get a few with thugs so dumb that the case just falls together. I am glad to see they are charging these guys as adults.

I, as a transplant to Frederick County walk amongst the unwashed masses of Western Md.

While there are lots of "salt of the Earth" people, there are more than a fair share of people proving Darwin's theories on evolution every day.

All you have to do is walk Carroll Creek during lunch time and see that!

Interesting. Another prohibited person in possession of a firearm stands accused of committing a violent crime.

Default Frederick county teenager admits involvement in shooting

According to police and prosecutors, Nowalk was playing games on an Xbox at Dylan Jesse Gray's Hillcrest Drive home on the afternoon of Dec. 19 when another friend, a 16-year-old Frederick boy, called to say he was coming over.

When the 16-year-old arrived, he knocked on the front door. After no one came to the door, he knocked on the windows.

Gray told police he became annoyed with the 16-year-old. Nowalk told Gray he should scare the boy, and Gray grabbed a .32-caliber semi-automatic handgun from his bed and went to the front door, according to charging documents.

Why wasn't Grey charged with attempted murder?

Neither Gray or Nowalk believed the gun was loaded and they intended only to scare the friend, according to court records and testimony.
    I suppose this is why.
