It's ok. I'm used to you playing dumb Ken...
I understand what a poll is. Pretty useless. I asked you to show me a link that the majority of Americans favor a ban and you show me a poll of 1000 people. 1000 people is not the majority of Americans which means your poll isn't worth didly

'This' is not a democracy. It would be illegitimate for the US to be a democracy (aka mob rule).

You may want to check here.

No Apaches currently up for sale but you could get a MI-24.

PPP was one of the most accurate pollsters in the 2012 and 2010 elections
Even my conservative folks support an assault weapons ban. Yes, they are 2nd Amendment nuts.

Now if I commit a crime with a firearm, we have something called "due process" that can be used to take away one of my rights, but your own perceived uneasiness or discomfort or feelings about YOUR safety doesn't eliminate my rights.

There are just as many people who feel the opposite way that you do - they feel that their safety is enhanced when law-abiding citizens exercise their right to K&BA.

"Rights" are not at the whim of liberal or conservative winds, and if you want to amend the Constitution, there is a process in place -- use it.

BTW - I think the Westboro Baptist morons are hideously evil hatemongers, but my feelings about their speech content does not eliminate their free speech rights.
Sure it does. You are forbidden to yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater because it could endanger me.

Ergo, my safety trumps your rights.

    Silly rabbit.
