Default Howard County man arrested for string of Christmastime burglaries

An Ellicott City man was arrested Friday in connection with a string of Christmastime burglaries, Howard County police said.

Kenneth William Vollmerhausen, 28, of the 8500 block of High Ridge Road, had been on probation after pleading guilty on Dec. 4 to a Carroll County first-degree burglary when he allegedly broke into several Howard County homes between Dec. 17 and Thursday and stole jewelry, police said.

An investigation linked Vollmerhausen to several burglaries, including watches and jewelry that were stolen from a home in the 7300 block of Kindler Road, Columbia, on Dec. 26 and jewelry stolen from a home in the 8800 block of Old Frederick Road in Ellicott City on Dec. 17. Police said another home in the 8800 block of Old Frederick Road was broken into on Thursday, but nothing was reported stolen.

I'm a bit confused by the bold above...Why would he be charged with a Carroll County first degree burglary when he broke into Howard County homes?

    Candy--

He pleaded guilty to burglary in Carroll County and was on probation for that when he allegedly burglarized houses in Howard County.

He has a series of other charges from Howard County for which he is awaiting trial, plus several traffic violations from earlier this month.

    Thanks for clearing that up.

Mr.Vollmerhausen has quite a record but I'm sure his parents will say he was a good guy, just turning his life around.

Must be because of that foreign sounding name.

Once again we see that the real terrorists to us are the judges that protect criminals like this and continue to allow them to roam or neighborhoods.

Geez, I hope the next house he breaks into the homeowners blows his brains out. Then, finally, justice will be served. And before he kills someone either during one of his break-ins or on the roads with his seemingly disregard for traffic laws.

Sounds like a troubled young man. Life obviously isn't going well for him. A lengthy prison sentence might be just the kind of therapy he needs to make it better. Good thing he's not being tried in Carroll County again. Apparently burglary is no big deal up there.

Yep. We always get loose on bail and hard working honest people like Tiffany Alston and Keef get abused by the racist justice system.
