    FRENCH COURT REJECTS MILLIONAIRES' TAX
(Reuters) - France's Constitutional Council on Saturday rejected a 75 percent upper income tax rate to be introduced in 2013 in a setback to Socialist President Francois Hollande's push to make the rich contribute more to cutting the public deficit.

C'est magnifique. Une décision merveilleuse par la cour française.

What does this have to do with anything in America? Why should I care what France does?

Socialism has been tried and found wanting in many countries. Yet America seems determined to try it here. We cannot seem to learn from the mistakes of other countries. I'll never forget Margaret Thatchers comment that sooner or later under socialism you run out of other peoples money. Surely there is a middle ground where we take care of those in need without stealing it from other people.

Who's suggesting a tax rate anywhere approaching the French rate?

    Oh, that's right. Nobody.

So this is the definition of a strawman. Terrific stuff. Keep it up.

What a shame. They really needed that money to keep their cradle-to-grave welfare state afloat. Oh well. C'est la vie.

Should the baboon have his way...... anyone making a buck will be taxed to oblivion. On the plus side to many of you, one of his sticking points is to extend unemployment AGAIN for his parasitic garbage.

I am in favor of extening unemployment benefits because most of the unemployed are that way because of Obama's handling of the economy and his foolish war on coal and oil.
