A Timonium man has been accused of severely beating and attempting to kill his girlfriend on Dec. 23, according to charging documents.
The suspect, Andre Jones Lewis II, was charged with attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and felony possession of a shotgun, according to court records.
Police interviewed Lewis and his girlfriend, who suffered "extensive bruising to both eyes and multiple facial lacerations," as well as additional bodily trauma, according to Baltimore County police.
