Default More pandering from O'Malley and this is personal!

    From his own hand:

Sanchez nice work. Let the gov. take a gander at this:

    and this:

I hate pandering like the gov. standing with the service men and woman. Didn't work too well in the county and my brother could have bled to death in a VA hospital.

I love the one photo with his wife speaking at an anti bullying conference when in fact there is no law in the state of Maryland protecting our children against such crimes as cyber bullying or stalking, but we do have a fantasy football bill - just more pandering.

What does O'Malley have to do with the treatment given in VA hospitals?

Oct. he is now in the national spotlight and could reach out to the nation as to the plight of the vets.

Take a look at the thread I did on the county and all the hype KK promised and what did he deliver, Zero!

Just like the photo of his wife speak on bullying and yet there is no law on the books to protect our children against this threat.

I just thought the pic was a photo-op like when Obama appeared with Christie in NJ and then flew to a fundraiser never to return.

Sorry, Buzz, there are anti-bullying laws on the books in Maryland. They're found in the Education article, and there's one in the criminal law section. Please do your homework.

New Jersey is getting aid from the federal government, something that many Republicans are against. It would have been a photo~op if the president had returned and posed for no reason. He promised Governor Christie support and New Jersey is getting it. Governor Christie was harshly criticized by his own party for praising the efforts of the president for his state.

I do not know what the governor of any state can do to improve the medical atttention our vets deserve and should receive. But I do know that Democrats like Senator Mikulski are criticized here and she is a big advocate for help for our veterans and their families and has announced federal funding that she's sought and obtained for them. And she is in the position to do even more for them now. Certainly ~ Anthony Brown is a friend to our veterans as well.

I can't believe that there is no law in this state that protects our children from cyber bullying. This came right from a PIA I filed. You can sue for libel or is it slander, but that's it. There is no remedy for the computer part regarding harassment.

It's the issues to me that count, not the letter in front of the name. O'Malley is on the big stage now and you will notice the photos are all about him.

Just look at the Sun person of the year and the other candidates and the impact they had. Not a mention, but I guess that's the name of the game - too pander.

Do you really think that is unique to O'Malley and not all public officials here and elsewhere?

You have admitted that this is personal to you, but I still do not know what you expect a governor to do about the health care system for our veterans, and especially when others who support them are criticized sorely on the basis of their party affiliation, like Senator Mikulski.

I just recently filed a police report involving cyber bullying and harassment and was notified in writing by the county SA after filing a Information Act that the law does not address web sites or blogs such as this because the threat is not addressed to a specific e-mail address of the victim and he web is not consider a public place.

The term "electronic mail" means - e-mail - not a blog site. In my thread I used the word CYBER STALKING and therein where the difference lies.

Your link is correct if the offender uses an E-MAIL ADDRESS and not a blog site or a social network because, according the the co. SA to meet the criteria of the law you have to use an e-mail address and target the victim.

I have a two page opinion from the SA. I am going to use it for a blog. If you doubt me call 410 887 6300 and ask the SA. There are two keys, one it has to be a public place and if a computer is involved it has to include a specific e-mail address.

I read the law and thought I had a good case and sent all the comments to the SA and police and was told it does not meet the definition of cyber stalking or harassment.

Send me you e-mail in a private message and I send you the opinion. I fought like heck to argue my point but they would not budge. They have to target you by e-mail then you have a crime of cyber nature.

Now do the same research as I did and see what you come up with. You can sue for slander or libel, but it does not fall under the criminal statue.

I personally think the opinion is wrong but how do you fight county hall.

And that's the way it should be. Comments on a blog should not constitute bullying. Give me a Fing break

    - vicious, viral and incessant attacks through text messages, e-mails and Facebook posts
Maryland's laws cover those. Those aren't blogs.
