OMG...a blast from the past. Fawn Lebowitz. (Not sure why, but I did just throw up a little in my mouth.)

They've had an incredible season, fueled by emotion for their coach. And it's possible that might continue for one game. But the Raven's are the better team, and they are playing at home where they are tough to beat. I think they should beat the Colts, but this is the type of game that can produce a big upset if they aren't careful.
I agree this game has upset written all over it but if the Ravens are aggressive and don't turn the ball over they should win. Also the Colts shouldn't be able to run the ball vs the Ravens and that is what has hurt the birds all year. I do hope that Ellerbee doesn't end up on the bench with Lewis coming back. He is the real deal

I can't imagine that Bynes gets the nod over Ellerbee.

While a coach often has to navigate political waters, and this coach perhaps more than most, I still can't imagine Ellerbee sits while Bynes plays.

I feel confident in my prediction..but I would love to be wrong...our one win against NE a few years back was a fluke.. We never have beat Peyton Manning. But we have to get by Sunday first.

I can feel the love already. Imagine what this place will be like in a week after we send your team home to golf.

See, Fawn...that's what I like about you. Your powers of perception. Like, say, for example...my avatar. You know...the COLTS helmet, with the horseshoe. And my screen nic -- OrginalColtsFan. (Okay...I can see where the nic is confusing.) Now, let's say...you're not from around here...and you haven't been paying attention for say...the past 2 years or so. I can understand that. Of course...I'm still not sure how you missed the avatar. But hey...we're about to enter a new year. So I say...let bygones be bygones.

McClain is on IR so Ellerbe won't be on the bench, mark my words Dannell Ellerbe will not be a bench warmer.

You think Caldwell might know some of the Colts defensive weaknesses or possible tendancies?

But without looking it up would the "Original Colts Fan" know who the "Iron Horse" was and what he was known for? Does your originality go back to 1947 or when?

The Colts are hot but....in our house?.......with rested players?.... I don't think so. I expect to see the Ravens 'D' frothing at the mouth with Ray & Sugs back. Look for improved play calling from Caldwell (similar to Giants beat down) & the Ravens winning by 17 pts. This Ravens team will be ready to represent and move to the next level.

    Bring it on Colts........GO RAVENS!!!!!

    Colts: 11-5
    Ravens: 10-6

    Advantage: Colts.

    Happy New Year!
    1) Why is this an advantage for the Colts? Doesn't Jim Caldwell know how to block Freeney and Mathis and can't he give advice to Pees on how to handle Reggie Wayne? Don't the Ravens know a Bruce Arian offense inside and out based on years of going against him? Doesn't Pees know how to attack Correy Redding who though injured is one of their strongest defenders? If anything this is a push if not a slight advantage for the Ravens

2)I'll actually give the QB advantage to the Colts because Indy knows that Luck has to win it for them and have trusted him since day 1. He's going to be throwing it all over the field because they have no running game. Still though the Ravens counter that big time with a running game that has a good chance to control the clock which will set up play action for scores and keep Luck off the field.

3)If emotion/mo have little impact than that's a big advantage for the Ravens because the Colts have been living off emotion all year.

Look I get that a lot of posters are pessimistic about the Ravens but sometimes you have to give them a little more credit. This is the same rhetoric we heard two weeks ago from a lot of posters concerning the Giants and the talk that they would destroy the Ravens with their pass rush and Eli throwing for 8 TD's.

DE's with less sacks that Paul Kruger should also be feared....
Ummm. Are you are saying Flacco is better than Luck? Uhhhh, OK.

    Rhetoric:

    1. (in writing or speech) the undue use of exaggeration or display; bombast.

A different opinion than yours -- probably. Rhetoric? Hardly

I think the way it is now is the best (although I would like to have fewer teams make the playoffs - less wildcards - but I know that will never happen because of the money involved) because winning a division should count for something. Otherwise, why have divisions at all?

A dome team playing outdoors in January with that kind of a split and a lot of rookies at key positions stand little chance to be honest

The Ravens CRUSH the Colts at home by a minimum of 2 TDs bank on it!

After that chances are we are done.
i do not think any body should be happy after we lost 4 out of 5 games. we should have won some of those games. we are good sometimes but NOT all the time. we need to play RAY LEWIS and the rest of our best players. then will have a chance to beat the Colts. GO RAVENS

you are the one that likes to use statistics to denegrate Flacco...I just showed you where your own arguments fall apart...like I said not surprising that you contradict yourself because no one will ever accuse you of being much of a thinker....and asual, you try to run away or deflect when people point out your flawed "logic"....I used your measuring stick, not mine.....maybe you need to get out of mom's basement on occasion.....

would you like to me to pull of some of your more "informed" statements about QB performance based on your "interpretation" of statistics....your call little boy
