"Elite" is Brady, Peyton Manning, and maybe a couple others. Eli is a good QB who's been fortunate to be in the right place at the right time. There's nothing wrong with that. Nobody can ever take his rings away. He's proof that you don't have to be Brady or Manning, or Brees or Rodgers, to win a ring. Or two. He's proof that it's a team game.
We've labeled him elite because his TEAM has two titles with him at QB. But he's not close to the level of Brady, Peyton, and probably Brees or Rodgers. Doesn't mean "he" can't beat them. "He" has, on the biggest stage. With a LOT of help from his friends. Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson can back him up. Even Big Ben wasn't putting up Brady / Manning video game numbers during his two title runs. Good gets it done too, in the right situation.
