    Nice try, but no.

Metro-Charlotte has a greater population than KC, and comparable to Cincy and Cleveland. If you throw in the similar population from the Raleigh area (about an hour away), it exceeds Baltimore and numerous other MLB programs.

Nah, people in NC would rather go to NASCAR.

    Troll on.

So perhaps the Orioles ought to relocate to Charlotte ?

And you ought to relocate back to Beantown.

(Reuters) - Authorities in a suburban county north of New York City said on Tuesday they will refuse to release names of local gun permit holders to a newspaper that has been publishing the identities of thousands of license-holding residents.

Putnam County Clerk Dennis Sant said he would defy a request for information about pistol permit holders from the White Plains, New York-based Journal News, which has come under criticism for publishing thousands of such identities already.

"There is the rule of law, and there is right and wrong and the Journal News is clearly wrong," Sant said in a statement. "I could not live with myself if one Putnam pistol permit holder was put in harm's way, for the sole purpose of selling newspapers."
    Dennis Sant for President!

Dennis Sant is choosing "right or wrong" over his legal obligation. Should get interesting for him.

We don't ban anything down here.

Except for ridiculous stuff. Like gay marriage.

Everyone with a brain knows that the sole purpose for this type of "journalism" is to push a leftwing anti-gun nutter agenda, not to sell newspapers.

Aren't you going to get high and mighty upset about the topical poster name-calling people "gun-grabbers?"

That is their agenda. They want hired guns for protection but no private gun ownership.

NASCAR? You mean those country bumpkins who are high tech engineers that are designing aerodynamic packages and testing them in wind tunnels?

Won't be the first time an anti gun company declared bankruptcy due to it's own stupidity.

"The Journal News of West Nyack, N.Y., has hired armed security guards to defend its offices after receiving a torrent of phone calls and emails responding to the paper's publication of the names and addresses of area residents with pistol permits."

Classic example of Liberal Elitists, a.k.a., 'Marxist Pragmatists', 'Useful Idiots', and 'Loony Leftists', practicing their right to be blatant Liberal Hypocrites. It's guaranteed in their 'Rules For Radicals'....they must do it!

'By Any Means Necessary'...and all that stuff.

I don't have to look it up, I have firsthand knowledge.

Hechingers owner was an anti-gun nut and was using his resources to fund the gun grabbers. Many hunters silently boycotted the stores by not buying from them and started going to Home Depot. Hechingers prices were very competitive with Home Depot so price wasn't a factor. Since many in the construction fields are also hunters the stores were losing business because of the owners stance strictly on gun control and the refusal of gun owners to buy from Hechingers. Before I knew of the owners action, I got my butt chewed out from one of good friends because I bought supplies to build a few treestands from there. My buddy refused to help me build the stands because the materials came from there.
I took all of the materials back to Hechingers, got my money back and went to Home Depot.

You have a personal anecdote. And a peculiar idea of what constitutes friendship but I digress. And Home Depot doesn't sell guns and has the panties if the gun nuts in a twist with their presumably anti-gun policies re carrying guns in their stores.

H made many strategic errors, the oddest one in my opinion being its store locations. Home Depot and Lowes followed the spread of the population to farther flung developments, H never figured that out.
