Most people didn't notice the payroll tax cut and likely won't notice the tax increase.

It was a relatively small tax cut but it lowered the amount of money we pay into Social Security...

Really? I noticed it right off. My last pay check was about $150.00 lighter than the one before. Maybe Bill Gates wouldn't have noticed but bullmikey and such live off the small change. We tend to notice stuff like that.

Specifically, more revenue or cutting spending? The original question was what is Obama's plan to balance the budget?

A balanced approach which he has said includes both. It is not spending or revenue it is spending and revenue.

for months he indicated a balanced approach. I am not saying he is perfect. Clinton had a more balanced approach.
