    We'll see. I think it's true.

Holy crap. The end of an era of the greatest middle linebacker to play the game. I can't believe it. No more Ray Lewis introduction and M&T.

I don't see that reported anywhere. That being said, his cap number next year is going to be $7.3M. Something's going to have to happen to him

What do you think about the timing of the announcement? Does the team respond with a "win one for the Gipper" mentality, or is that type of motivation overated?

I was really surprised about the timing of it. Really thought that he would wait until after the playoffs.

I know he has said he isn't interested in coaching but I hope he is with the organization in some capacity.

Please I'm begging you don't act like this today, lets honor Ray and hope this team can get him another SB ring this last time.

Not a shock but he seemed ageless. Five years until Canton now. Reserve your rooms now, Ravens fans.

Wow Pez, first you think a station makes up or mis-reports a story like that then you think he's going to change his mind.

    Any other nuggets of wisdom?

i will say you always take athletes with a grain of salt who are aging and say "I can play for 4 monre years"...
