    Default Ray Lewis Statue

How long before Steve has a Ray Lewis statue erected next to Johnny U at the Stadium entrance. Ray will go down on the same list as Johnny U, Cal Ripken, Brooks Robinson, etc as one of the greatest athletes in Baltimore sports history. Put the statue up steve

Heck, given his level of play and his legacy on the field... they should put the statue up today and unveil his name in the RoH at halftime this week.

Add his number to the list of numbers that will never be worn by a Raven, joining:
    #1 player ego
#19 I don't need to tell any Baltimore football fan why.
    #57 O.J Brigance

#52 will be added nest year.

It'll happen. And nobody will ever wear #52 again.

I'd also not be surprised if nobody wore #20.

Sure you could make a statue of Ray,But would need an artist equal to his career but all master are all dead .The artist to match his intensity would need to catch his devotion leader ship and love of his fans And of course it would need to be larger then life And keep his team under his watch full eye

While you're at it Steve, erect an Ed Reed statue.

Picture this statue layout: Ed lateraling the ball to Ray.

Ditto that! Ray Lewis is the greatest MLB to ever play the game. Sorry, LT.

The statue should begin "Legends Lane" (renaming Ravens Walk).

Ray Lewis's statue should go on the stadium end of Legends Lane @ Ray Lewis Way. Rays statue on one side and Jonathan Ogden's statue on the other. Cross Ray Lewis way into Unitas Plaza and Johnny's Statue. Ed Reed's Statue will follow one day next to Ray & J.O..

I would add all Baltimore Hall of Famers with a statue, yes, put up one for Marchetti and Berry and Lenny Moore and the others.

Imagine every Prime Time National telecast.....the camera makes it's way down Legends Lane past all the greats standing guard....then crossing Ray Lewis Way to Johnny U - "The Babe Ruth of Football"!

After what Brigance has been going through with ALS the team decided not to use #57.

The Ravens were dumb enough to use #19 when Scott Mitchell was QB, but retired it the death of Johnny Unitas.

I was thinking of Ray's statue on the South entrance. But I like your idea - Legends Walk ending at Unitas Plaza. However, with the exception of Unitas I would make it Ravens only. Ray, Ed Reed and Ogden would be be look great there.

LT was an OLB and a pure pass rusher! The greatest to be sure...and he did change the way the game was played and made a number of LTs into the 2nd highest paid player on the offense!

LOL! Actually, they could not figure out the engineering to show him tripping over a yard line and falling!
