This is one of the strongest drafts for defensive talent and O-linemen in quite a while. It just so happens that those two things are our greatest needs. While I won't make a prediction about where they are taken by round, I expect to see at least 2 D-linemen, an inside linebacker, an O-lineman, and a WR taken with the first 5 picks.
The real question is what to do with the O-line. Can Osemele eventually be a left tackle? He's had a pretty good rookie season, and certainly has the length and size to do it. What about Oher? Reid? They have a lot of pieces, but I'm not sure exactly where they fit. Is Gradkowski ready to start at Center?
I think this is going to be one of the most influential drafts they've had in quite a long time. A good haul will solidify the lines of scrimmage for years to come, while a bad one will make their biggest weaknesses even worse for the next two years at least.
I hope they do their homework.
