    He's learning.
    He's a liar.

Presidents would be failing in their job if they did not use them with such an obstructionist congress.

George Bush did not sign 1200 signing statements. That's false, byng. In fact, no where near 1200 and, as a matter of fact, President Clinton signed far more than did President Bush.

If one merely counts the "signing statement" documents there was only 161 signed by Bush, but If you count the number of provisions of law challenged by the Bush "signing statements", which is the more accurate way of portraying it, there were between 1100 and 1200 provisions of the Law challenged by the Bush "signing statements".

....which is more "provisions of the Law" challenged than all of the Presidents in history, combined!

You tried to play fast and loose with the truth. Are you sure that you're not a politician? Joe Biden perhaps?

Blah blah blah. Look at the Senate's record before accusing the House Republicans of not doing their job. Obama, to his credit, has sent a budget recommendation to the Senate every year, but Reed has not done his job by refining it and sending it on to the House for approval. The budget is required every year by the Constitution. Reed should have been fired years ago. And where was Obama's oversight to ensure the budget moved through the process?Another, government must be more "transparent" lie by Obama.

Plus, Obama and Bush are just about equal in the number of Executive Orders signed.

Just presenting the facts in that it is the number of "provisions of the Law" that are challenged, not the number of actual documents signed. I thought you would have known/understood that Sprightly?

And Obama has been in office 4 years less than Bush. I need to see how many EP's Obama has compared to Bush.

    Sure, byng.

Want to discuss executive orders now or will you concede that Obama has signed as many as Bush?

Moving the goal posts might work for a beginner, Flyboy, but it does not work for me, even though I am not a "real" American in your eyes.

No, I've proven that you deliberately misrepresented. Guilty as charged. Now I know that I have to research everything you post when you don't present a link to your claims.

I never said you weren't a real American Byng. I just wanted to make sure you had a stake in this country before debating US politics with you. You do know for every finger you use to point at someone else, three more are pointing right back at you? Try it, make a fist and point your index finger at the monitor. How many fingers are pointing back at you? Use the hand that isn't missing any fingers.
