9-2 was a fraudulent, smoke-and-mirrors start. This is a BAD team. Not average. BAD. They should be 4-9.

Newsome is good. Harbaugh is ok. Cameron and Pees are abysmal and Flacco is average. They will miss the playoffs this year, or, if they manage to back their way in, will be out in the first round. We're not crazy. We're just not under the illusion this team is anything other than what it is, record be damned.

Maybe so, but you were originally talking about stopping the run, not the screen pass. Averaging 66 yards of rushing isn't exactly lighting up the rush defense. Especially considering what most teams do to the Colt run defense.

Ray only averages 71.7 per game anyway, so 66 isn't that far off. And as we all know, "taking Ray Rice out of the game" isn't just about stopping the run.
