    TheResearcher--

Hahahahahaha. What a load of crap.

Blacks and Latinos support real marriage! – as polls and the recent pro-natural-marriage rally in D.C. demonstrate, minorities overwhelmingly support the preservation of marriage as one man, one woman – i.e., at higher rates than whites. How ironic that just when the GOP is struggling to expand its appeal among minority voters, some Republican elites are embracing counterfeit “gay marriage” – thus FURTHER ALIENATING the very minority voters they need to reach.
What's the out of wedlock birth rates for those groups?

Oh, my, another goody from the lying liars of AFTAH:

Legalized homosexual “marriage” will propel and help “normalize” homosexual adoption – thus consigning ever greater numbers of innocent children to be raised in households that are motherless or fatherless by design. In Illinois as in Massachusetts, the Catholic Church was forced by “gay rights” to shut down its successful adoption program because it refused, according to the dictates of its religious teachings, to place children in households that intentionally deny children a mom or a dad.
Homosexuals generally can adopt currently. So can single people. Catholic Charities shut down its adoption programs because they were taking state money but refused to abide by anti-discrimination laws.

May I present some truth from a former chairman of the board of directors of Catholic Charities of Boston?

Then in 2005, tragically, and out of the blue, the Vatican told our agency to cease using the single criteria of “best interest of the children.” They ordered us to stop facilitating adoptions to households headed by gay men and lesbians. I objected.

    ...

The board reacted strongly to the Vatican’s order, voting 42-0 against excluding gay and lesbian families from adoption services. From the board’s point of view, the decision was wrong for children and a violation of longstanding law. When the hierarchy persisted in its demand, the organization had little choice but to end adoption services. They had made the decision to put other interests ahead of what was best for the children we served.

    Bullmikey--

You've never heard of them before?

It's more the National Association against Same-sex Marriage and Civil Unions (Except in New Hampshire).

I offer you equality. You want sameness.

    Which you'll never get.

    'Cause you're not the same...
Is your solution that the term marriage, in terms of the government contract, be done away with for all and the term civil union used instead?

Stuff like that has the National Organization for Marriage hopping mad.

"Pro-family" is a code word for anti-gay, and usually involves seeking to marginalize families headed by gay men and lesbians. Another language trick NOM uses to talk about "betraying the cause of marriage." Nobody is trying to betray the cause of marriage here.

NOM's drive to punish pro-SSM Republicans will most likely lead to election of pro-SSM Democrats.
The Democratic Party should hire full time code breakers to better serve the perpetual victims in their party.

    Brady to step down

Illinois Republican Chairman Pat Brady is telling people tonight that he plans to resign Tuesday, sources familiar with his decision say. The resignation comes after Brady survived an attempt last month to oust him as GOP chairman over his support for gay marriage.

Even then, however, top state GOP leaders approved a succession strategy many believed could lead to him being replaced by the end of May. The plan for a succession committee was approved last month by the Illinois Republican State Central Committee. The move appeared to provide Brady with an exit strategy to leave the post he has held since August 2009.

    Ewww !

    That's very unnatural. Counter-intuitive.

Nothing good can come from that sort of activity. Except for personal gratification.
