Default Do you think they will show Ray coming out on the Tunnel live?

Wouldn't it be great if some way they could have live coverage of Ray coming out of the tunnel. I know they have never before but this being his last home game, this would be great for all the viewers to see. Thats something I would DVR and see it over and over.

I'm sure they'll at least show it in replay during the transition over to the stadium coverage.

On a serious note, how could they not? Not to mention I'm sure someone at the game will have it on youtube before the kickoff. It's a modern world we live in

Definitely. And it will be all over Youtube as Ken has mentioned.

Kind of silly for them not to show it live right?

    I also expect a flyover.

I'm glad I decided to pay for plaoff tickets, this should be a memorable game.

This may also wind up being Ed Reed's last game at M&T. I don't think too many Ravens' fans have given that a thought.

Listening to Mike Preston on 105.7 this morning, it sounds like it's more likely than not.

The should show it, I never watch Pre-Game shows anymore but I'll definitely make an exception for this game.

I bet they don't show it live. Ray is only popular in Baltimore and Indy fans could care less.

Preston has been predicting Reed's imminent retirement or departure for many years now. Eventually he'll be right. He predicted Ogden's retirement for several years because of his supposed dislike for Billick's offense, then Ogden retired only after Billick was fired. He predicted Ray Lewis' retirement several years back. He swore up and down that Jamal Lewis was GONE when that first contract ran out because of his dislike for Billick, yet he wound up re-signing here anyway. His track record for accurately predicting player / personnel moves is less than stellar.

I wasn't aware of Mikey's previous Reed predictions. However, Ed is an UFA and I do not believe that he and Harbaugh are all that friendly. That's why I think he just may be right.

    This time.

Popular only here may be true, but he is well known among NFL fans, and greatly respected by his peers. I think there's a good chance the network will show it for those reasons.

On a side note, this will be one of those events that everyone will claim to have been prsent for; the vault hold what, about 72K? I'll bet around 140K will claim to have been presennt.

If Cincy upsets Houston and the Ravens take care of business it could be rematch in New England. That I would love!

Preston is a journalist as opposed to a reporter. As such he often speculates and provides opinions versus facts. More often than not, his opinions are proved to be reasonably accurate, but his speculations can be wildly wrong.

Additionally, he has a tendency to beat an idea or a person to death in print; Billick and Reed have both been targets. Sometimes I get the feeling Ed blew him off once and his response is to continually look for and print flaws in his game.

So will I and my son. It is going to be crazy when you comes out. There may be chants of "Best Who Ever Played" or "We Love Ray." Indy Irsays are going to be shocked with the noise.

If it's anything like any other game, they'll show it live, but it will have the pre-game music and sponsors overlaying it. The last one out of the tunnel is timed to that segment so that the network can go to commercial while they clean up the field and get ready for the coin toss.

Some might call that the original between the devil and the deep blue sea, but yeah you guys seem to have Brady's number much more so that Peyton's. Good luck in any event!
