I almost went with WNST last year. Maybe this year I'll do it if they go to New England.

Listening to Mike Preston on 105.7 this morning, it sounds like it's more likely than not.
Reed was on the radio yesterday saying he will be playing again next year. So at what point do the Ravens go to bring him back to Baltimore. He could be back as a visiting player say with NE.

I have heard that they will be showing the introductions on TV but we'll just have to see. Since I'll be at the game I'll have to record the pre-game and the game of course.

As far as Ed Reed goes who knows what he is going to do. But he won't be back here at $7 mil or even $5 mil. I suspect the Ravens would offer him one year at $3 mil. They will probably let him test the market assuming he doesn't retire. If someone is willing to give Ed a big pay day then bye bye Ed.

I know he wants to play, but how much does he want and how badly do the Ravens want him back? I personally think that he won't be a Raven next season. I'd love to have him back, but at the right price.

btw -- this is what I wanted to talk about, not the credibilty of Preston.

You are right, as well as he is respected and loved here, he is probably one of the most hated football players outside of Baltimore because of what happened. I really hope they show it.

Just called channel 13 and they said they have no control over that. It is a national game. Would be nice if the national network would show that.

They're going to show every second of Ray they can for as long as the Ravens are playing.

Don't sweat it. CBS will almost certainly show some of it at some point right before the game starts. YouTube will probably have many "in person" videos. Ravens "One Winning Drive" will likely make a spectacle of it. Every local sports news telecast Sunday night will have it. Even if you try to avoid it... you'll see it anyway.

I hope they show Ray's pregame ritual live, but I have my doubts.

I remember when the Ravens were at the Steelers and the LIVE coverage Bettis got after he retired.

As part of the game, the TV folks covered Bettis being driven onto the field in a bus. Bettis came dancing out of the bus to the delight of the Steeler fans.

This event was covered on live TV as a part of the normal game coverage.

Do I think they will do the same for Ray, I think not.

If they show a short recorded snippet of Ray's entrance, it was not be same as if it is shown live in its entirety.

From their facebook page... baltimoreravens.com will be streaming live from the stadium starting at noon. They'll have Ray's pre-game speech, entrance, and more.
