    Forbes #1, #2, #3 for FY 2012

Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and Larry Ellison did not inherit their billions

Since when did intergenerational wealth gain become a shakey concept? Inheritance is the best way to foster and maintain intergenerational wealth. I am retired and in retirement forums there are often discussions about spending all of your money and why leave it to your kids etc etc. Folks who have nest eggs wanting to die broke and leave none on the table. On the other hand you have folks who want to continue to build their nest eggs and to leave a nice sum to their children and grandchildren (legacy money). Hmm no wonder we have a wealth gap in the country and a population whining about it when they won't do what others do to create and pass on family wealth.

I don't have a problem with inheritance, but to make a statement that all rich people worked hard to get rich is a fallacy.

I know you don't and my post should have clarified I wasnt talking about you. I have a sense of your perspective on things. My issue is with the overall issue of the wealth gap when in fact so much of it is a result of individual decion making. Growing up and as an adult you have made decisions and those decisions have put you in the position you are. Others didn't make as many good decisions and it is wrong to expect redistribution of wealth because of it.

If so do that, if not call them and tell them you want to continue as is. They are trying to strong arm people into going with mail delivery as that is more profit for them. If you have the insurance through work ask others on the job and your benefits office what the terms of their contract is with them.
    thank you
