It's that whole selective indignation thingy that makes the whole Tea Party persona of his laughable.
I agree that he is a jerk. But not because of this vote.

It is only a request, but if you wish to have any legitimacy on here you should back up your claims.

But Andy supports the NRA plan to have the feds spend over $10 Billion to arm every school in the country. That is a huge tax increase!

Keep changing the subject when your argument fails.

Unrelated facts if they are facts.

But they are not. I assume that he supports the NRA in general. But did he endorse the cops in schools suggestion? A link always helps.
But even if he did a proposal to put cops in school is not a tax increase. It may be funded in a variety of ways.

So are you thinking they, in some cases, should be left homeless while the insurer figures out how he is going to pay his bills.
And what about the people who choose to live near water with all the dangers that involves and are too cheap to take out flood insurance. Should federal taxpayers in the middle of Kansas have to chip in with their taxes to help them?

    Proof there IS a God!
Andy Harris, the guy who walked out on supporters without a word at Harris' Crab House on Election Night 2008. Totally classless. The guy who made up quotes that Frank Kratovil never said. The guy who recycled negative commercials about Wayne Gilghrist and made it look like the people were talking about Frank Kratovil. The guy who shamelessly portrayed E.J. Pipkin as a liberal. Meanwhile, as a member of the Maryland Senate, Harris voted for an amendment that would have given in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens. Granted, Maryland voters approved that measure ten years later. Regardless, his support was troubling to say the least.

As for abortion, his stance is completely irrelevant. The Supreme Court will decide when and if that issue will ever go back to the states. Keep in mind, the House of Reps has zero influence in the selection of judicial prospects.

I am most surprised that Eastern Shore folks remain comfortable with a guy from Baltimore County representing them in Congress.

In fairness, the NRA endorsed Frank Kratovil over Harris in 2010.

I don't have any specific name.

Does that make the fact that 800 families with flood insurance claims on the Eastern Shore because of Hurricane Sandy were not being paid because the Federal Flood Insurance program ran out of money and their Congressman voted against the interest of those families any less valid?

I will be very careful to watch your specifics in the future. From my view your legitimacy is already in question.

There are those that live on the lower Eastern Shore that were born there and lived there all their lives. Their livelihoods are there. In all my lifetime we have been stepping up to help those that are in trouble because of natural disasters. Are we now going to start kicking them under the bus?

I am not talking about those that choose not to have insurance. We are talking about those that do and have not been paid. Does an insurance policy issued by your government not have any value?

The bill that passed had the pork stripped out of it. You are mixing apples and oranges to buttress your failing argument.

    Thanks.

    Great job Andy......
Short of the Alaskan Fisheries are those not all things damaged by the storm? Should we not fix a rough damaged by the storm?

$41 million to fix military bases along the path including Gitmo? How about we just close Gitmo and trim that part of the expense?

$8 million for new vehicles? What are they buying Dodge Chargers?

Animal disease center? Come on dude
