Man...was I wrong about Doss. The one thing about him was that he was sure-handed. Not sure where that myth came from, but it couldn't be more off. (Hell...at this point I'd rather see David Reed out there than Doss. And that's REALLY saying something.)

(I wonder what happened to LaQuan Williams.)

ustice would have been Preston growing up in Michigan, following the Lions, and working as their beat writer. One playoff win since 1957. One playoff appearance the past 13 years. Matt frickin Millen as their GM.

He's a North Pole writer, nothing more. Take him with a grain of salt.

Grading system: I'll give him a D- for Thursday's front page article. Quoting the first line from paragraph 3:

"Unlike John Unitas, Baltimore's other immortal football player, Lewis gets to end his career in a Ravens uniform."

I didn't know Johnny U played for the Ravens.......

Actually there are SEVERAL, John just happens to lead the corral of many. Several of them aren't even in the HOF.

Preston same guy who thought Troy Smith should have been Ravens QB instead of Flacco; who said Dickson better tight end than Pitta; who said Grubbs better OLineman than Yanda and who now thinks Flacco should be sharing QB spot with Taylor because Taylor played in a meaningless game against Cincy. Detecting a pattern here?

Are you serious? He thinks Joe should share his job with Tyrod? For the first time in a long time I went an entire season without reading anything this guy writes and he continues to be the biggest tool at the Sun. Aaron Wilson being at the Sun makes it easier for me to ignore Preston. I guess he thinks he's the best sports columnist at the Sun since he's black.

We went back and forth about Doss in the fall. I told you he was a P.O.S. - and he is. Guess who wanted him on the team? Guess who lobbied for him?

Yet Dalton made the Pro Bowl last year with nearly identicle numbers to Joe despite losing to the Ravens twice and finishing in third place.

And this year Schaub made the Pro Bowl over Joe with nearly identicle numbers and Andre Johnson who is one of the best WR in the NFL. He also doesn't have to play 2 games a year against each of the tough Defenses in the AFC North.

If Flacco earned a perfect 138.7 rating, would Preston give him a B+???

A-. (Because "his WRs helped him out"; "he ALMOST threw 3 ints", etc.)

Yeah you're right. I had forgotten Preston's glass-hafl-empty outlook on Flacco.

He also would have mentioned some overthrows too.

    LOL
