Damn! Where is that thread? I could swear I was reading a thread this week wit a title something like "might as well stay in Baltimore". Just did a search and it's gone. Some troll with name of Moose or something was talking smack. Need to hear what he has to say now!

Ugh, hope it wasn't on another board, but can't find it there either.

I was listening to some of these experts all week stating Denver had the Number 2 ranked defense fourth ranked offense, whereas the Ravens were 15th, and 17th, or something similar. They also said the Broncos led the league in sacks and the Ravens had essentially no chance statistically of winning this game. This just goes to show that stats are not the end all be all as I have always argued. For one thing, the Broncos played a much softer schedule than the Ravens so it is apples to oranges. So those type of statistical comparisons are baloney.

Ray said it best...you don't play the game on paper!

As I watched ESPN after the game, I was immediately reminded of Fox News' coverage of the last general election.

The funny thing is that ESPN's tweets were actually far more gracious and respectful of the Ravens win.
