Chris Boyce served less than 25 years of his "life sentence" for selling satellite ciphers to the enemy -- and doing much more damage to the country than Pollard did.

    or this

Pollard's espionage of selling secrets to an ally is not even remotely as damaging as selling them to a cold war opponent, one with 2,000+ nuclear warheads aimed at us.

My point was exactly what I posted.

    • Pollard was convicted of spying and should have been executed (Boyce as well).
    • Neither was sentenced to death.
    • Both served time in prison (Boyce is already out despite providing much more damaging intelligence to the Soviets, involving spy satellites and information that worked against us in the SALT talks).
    • Pollard will also be released, having served more time than Boyce.

You can't retro-actively sentence him to something worse now. He will have paid his debt, he will go free.

So I ask again, why are your panties in a wad?

(and also - what's with your posting a "period" (.) down at the bottom of EVERY one of your posts?

Hagel should not be confirmed under any circumstances. He is a danger to the national security of America.

"more damaging", that's strictly your uninformed opinion. The details in Weinberger's memo to the sentencing judge are still classified. You know nothing.

I did not suggest that Pollard be sentenced to anything worse now. Never said he should not serve at least thirty years. My problem is with Israel trying again and again to have him set free early. Pollard has been eligible to apply for parole but has declined because he wants to be pardoned.

Why do you have this fascination with "panties"?

If it bothers you enough that you have to ask... good!

Indefinite detentions has been appealed to the Supreme Court. No decision yet. Justice Ginsburg has declined to reinstate an injunction pending the decision.

Obama just signed the NDAA which puts into law the Presidential Kill List which includes killing American citizens without due process.
