then proceeded to show highlights of the Ravens/Colts and Skins/Seahawks games.
Guess I'm a little confused...last time I checked neither game was in DC.

FedEx field is inside the Beltway. That's DC to anyone not trying to nitpick.
Did they mention the lack of armed robberies (zero) in DC during the game, and the commencement of robberies as soon as the game was over?
http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/...d15_story.htmlIt’s widely believed that life in Washington comes to a halt during a big Redskins game and resumes quickly afterward. Considering that crime is part of life, there may be something to that belief.
Hours went by Sunday afternoon and evening without any reports of robberies in the District. But in the first hour or so after the game ended, D.C. police reported three holdups, all involving guns.
I thought one of the anchors verbally introduced it as 24 Hours in the "Capital Region" too. 24 Hours in D.C. fits better in the little side box on the TV screen. Who cares. 80,000 went home unhappy there, so be it.
Was there a longer version of it somewhere? What I saw was only about 3 or 4 minutes long. I was hoping they'd do like a half hour "documentary" with more behind the scenes footage from the two games, more like a typical NFL Films "Wired" show. The piece I saw was disappointing...
The shows NFL Network did for the Ravens / Jets game back in '04, and the Ravens / 49ers game last year, were great. Pre-game prep, in-game highlights from different angles, sideline discussions, audio of the refs / players / coaches, etc. That's where NFL Network (and occasionally "One Winning Drive") does its best work...
To funny. Remember, these are the same people who show pics of the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument during skins games, when the closest landmark is Landover Mall.
BTW - is there still an Arthur Treacher's in that mall?
While it's not as bad as say West Baltimore, it's still P.G. County.
I know Baltimore fans don't want to really hear this but I have worked in and around D.C. the past 22 years and it has improved dramatically. If city living is for you, it would be a great city to live in outside of S.E. It's not NYC great though to me.
I don't compare the two cities as D.C., to me, has things going for it that others like Baltimore and Philly don't. But Baltimore has its spots like I think many cities do. You just have to know where to go if your from out of town and no I'm not talking about just the harbor.
I don't really care. It's not like basketball, baseball or hockey where that matters more. It's 8+ games a year and we tailgate, not bar hop. I'd like a different stadium but the issue is really the suites and those aren't going away in a town with as much money as DC. I also don't want to think about PSL's. Thats when I stop buying my tickets.
It's all relative. I bought two PSLs in '96. I don't remember the exact number of games / years it took... but I remember calculating that I was "in the black" on overall cost within a few years when I compared the price of my seat location to comparable seats at (then) Jack Kent Cooke Stadium. And the PSL itself is now double the price I paid in '96... so unless you sell during a downturn in interest, you should get most of that money back. If not even more.
