I must have missed where I disputed where the stadiums were located. I am quite sure I stated FedEx is in Maryland because the land was too valuable in Virginia and DC.

I call it Landover, does DC or Maryland give the welfare bennies to the local fans?

Calling Landover DC is like saying Alaska is in Canada. Maybe it was the polluted Sandy water you were drinking? Either they're the Landover's of Maryland or geographically confused Redskins formerly of DC. Which is it? Who paid for the roads and sewage system going to that pathetic stadium? Do Park Police, DC police, MSP or PG County police monitor and enforce the local laws?

    Not nitpicking, that's being specific.

You actually expect a Yankee/Redskin fan to know the difference?

Having grown up in PG County, when asked "where are you from" the response was almost always "DC."

I remember once at one of the free concerts at UMCP, Sugar Ray was performing and started the show with "What's up Baltimore!!!!" he was promptly boo'd.

They know this. They're, like I said, just nitpicking. There seems to be some incredibly stupid feeling among small town folks whose teams play in their city limits, that somehow that is better than teams that don't. I see it mostly from Baltimore but I've grown to expect that kind from the complex-ridden crowd.

When you are out of town and people ask where you are from, I am sure you tell them "I am from Pasadena, not Baltimore. Baltimore is nearby but I am a stickler for geographic specificity and wouldn't want to confuse anything by just saying Baltimore. You will have to excuse me for being so annoying about that but boundaries are boundaries and the fact is I am not from Baltimore" or something like that.

That's funny a city slicker like yourself, who loves to tell eveyone how much he can bench press, spends so much time here on a small town board from a small town paper. Why is that?

Seems like you are the one with the complex.

My last comment on it...I get you're a proud DC guy and I totally get that. I could have cared less if the piece was about the Skins ONLY. But for them to say, " 24 hours in DC" then show a large segment on the Ravens/Colts game is well......pure BS. Would you have minded if they called it 24 hours in Baltimore ?

I also would not have had a problem with them calling it 24 hours in MD...At least that statement would have been factual.
That was my entire point in which you somehow found to be nitpicking. Again reverse the roles and see how you feel

    That's the bottom line
