Default Housing Authority hit with reverse discrimination lawsuit!

I realize that some will consider this post politically incorrect. I would like to urge any other Housing Authority employees that have dealt with reverse discrimination to come forward.

"She also claimed that the African-American woman who replaced her "had no experience in that field of work" and "was not otherwise qualified for the position."

Stern responded in his motion by claiming that Ferris admitted race had little to do with her termination."

I hope that you will continue tracking this to its ultimate resolution.

    Discrimination is discrimination.

So she is upset that people complaining about her incompetence was distributed to more people then she thought should know. Then is fired and then rehired. But they are discriminating against her becuase she wants better benefits and higher pay.

This employee did indeed have issues in the office. The question to be resolved is who actually perpetrated those issues.

Exactly my thoughts. There should be nothing "reverse" about it.

I'm not surprised to hear of cases like this, though. A male black friend of mine had issues with female black coworkers discriminating against him and treating him badly. It got so bad that he quit his job. I should have sued for gender discrimination, IMHO.

You want evidence of incompetency? Take a look at City Hall. No one's being fired from there.

Default The Annapolis Housing Authority seems like a hot mess!

It wouldn't surprise me if the ultimate resolution is sealed with no admission of wrong doing.

I would take what Bmore_Ken wrote a step further. To me it sounds like the whole office has issues. This whole situations is out of control.

I thought the article was well done. But as with most disagreements there is always more than one side of the story.

Perhaps the Housing Authority should be abolished or severely de-funded.

A few years ago I was offered a job working for the then Secretary of Juvenlie Services. I declined due to the political nature of the job. Good thing I did since the man who would have been my boss resigned/was let go, a couple of years later. Career ender.

True - people are just quitting/resigning, in disgust. I think SRB has had the hightest turnover rate this city's ever seen. She is Genghis Khan in a power suit.

I'm pretty sure reverse discrimination would be fairness. So this woman is saying that people in her office were treating her with fairness?
