He throws a good deep ball. Everything else is mediocre. That's why he's in the lower half in the league in completion percentage.

Flacco is horrible at sideline passes and since those are the only games you do see, I would think you'd know at least that.
    Flacco sideline splits:

    2012
    R - 1,069 yds, 58.1%, 6 TD, 5 INT
    L - 600, 42.6%, 5 TD, 1 INT

    2011
    R - 986 yds, 54%, 5 TD, 2 INT
    L - 747 yds, 50%, 4 TD, 3 INT

    2010
    R - 952 yds, 61.3%, 6 TD, 3 INT
    L - 943 yds, 53%, 4 TD, 2 INT

    2009
    R - 1,049 yds, 56.9%, 5 TD, 2 INT
    L - 964 yds, 56.8%, 10 TD, 2 INT

    2008
    R - 931 yds, 60.8%, 5 TD, 4 INT
    L - 742 yds, 59.8%, 4 TD, 4 INT

    In summary:

    R - 4,987 yds, 27 TD, 16 INT
    L - 3,996 yds, 27 TD, 12 INT

Maybe he's not great at the sidelines, and his completion percentage is definitely lower to the left side, but he's definitely not "horrible".

You do understand the higher the YPA and YPC, the lower the completion percentage, right?

Most QB's can make short completions at a high percentage rate.

Horrible was too harsh. Mediocre is accurate.

Why? If they throw for more yards, that doesn't mean they throw for worse completion percentages.

Most QB's can make short completions at a high percentage rate.
    So?

It's simple logic. And it doesn't surprise me that you don't understand this.

Almost 9,000 yards, 54 TD and 28 INT to the sidelines is mediocre. OK.

It isn't logic at all. And actually it is false looking at the stats. The QB's with the highest YPA are also the ones with the highest completion percentage, namely Griffin, Peyton, Rodgers, etc.

    Clueless again. Shocker!
About what? If you're again trying to claim that the QB's with the higher completion percentages are the one who throw short a lot, the stats disagree with you again.

    Top 4 QB's in YPC have completion percentages of 57.7, 54.8, 54.1, 53.9.

    Griffith is 5th with a 65%.

9 of the top 10 in YPA had 63% or better completion percentages.

    Who is Griffith?
