The 112th Congress 's gridlocks, political gamesmanship and huge influence of special interests, and lobbyists agenda items for two years, should not become a new normal i. e., standard operating procedure in Congress . The GOP in Congress is in complete disarray. The Tea party faction of GOP faction in Congress, moderate Republicans and Democrats in coalition should become new force of reason, for deliberations, compromise on major issues. President Obama 's second term provides an historical opportunity for both the administration and 113th Congress to be focused on grand bargains, for debt and deficits reductions, tax code reforms, including Social security and Medicare benefits reductions, health care costs and immigration reforms etc. A long term commitment on a national agenda, would end years of uncertainty for business investments, programs for economic growth and prosperity programs for the middle class, led by jobs creation, rebuilding infrastructure programs, and ending poverty and economic in equality.

True. And most in Congress wouldn't make it in the private sector
we need to stop voting for career politicians and consider politicians from parties other thand the dems and repubs.
That lying sos in the White House fooled all of you. I have a friend who has 4 children and lives in a trailer and barely makes enough to live just had his paycheck reduced by $200 because of Obama and his policies. So much for the if you make under $250,000 you won't pay one dime more.![]()
