    Default Man busted for stealing coral reefs in Wicomico County

    MARDELA SPRINGS , Md.- The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of a man accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of coral from an aquaculture store in Mardela Springs.

    Davis' arrest stemmed from an incident that allegedly occurred on Dec. 21, when an aquaculture store on the 100 block of School Street in Mardela Springs reported the theft of multiple coral reefs designed for aquarium use.

    According to police, the ensuing investigation revealed that Davis took nearly $3,000 worth of coral while the store employee was distracted. Police said that upon learning he had been identified as a suspect in the case, Davis attempted to return some of the purloined reefs and subsequently admitted his culpability to the investigating
