It can be contest on the beach although the alleged function there is to go into the water or at least enjoy the warm weather. The beach display contest in itself is sad, but at least you can pretend you're doing something. It's pretty clear what's going on when you're indoors in a swimsuit in front of an audience.

Exactly. In addition, there are families with traditions characterized by late reproduction - to best provide for their families. My own grandparents were born in the 1890's, great-grandparents in the late 1850's - 60's, and great-great grandparents in the 1820's.

Not all families reproduce every 16 years.

That is certainly why most of them enter "Best Body on the Beach" and wet~tee shirt competitions too.

It's just a way to obtain funding to for their academic careers and further scientific research to make this nation more competitive.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Musberger's comments were scripted and intended. It wouldn't be the first time.

Fine by me, let's just not lie to ourselves that these contests aren't too distant from stripping.

There was this Lakers game awhile back where Charles Barkley was commenting on how attracted he was to Rick Fox's wife (Vanessa Williams). At some point he said "he won that". Being a typical Barkley delivery, it was pretty funny.

    Me too.

I never patronized Chick-fil-A until I went to the Baltimore Running Festival last October and was hanging out at the Celebration Village, north side of M&T Stadium.

At the entrance to the village, two Chick-fil-A employees were handing out free sandwiches. I grabbed a couple, and they were great!

Since then, I've been to several Chick-fil-As around the area.

True. It could have been good preparation. Since the game wound up as a blowout that was never in any doubt, his comments at least provided some entertaining humor and distraction from the slaughter on the field.

I've seen her in some Realtree camo ads. She's a hunter too (gun owner?):

I heard she opened the Katherine Webb School for Kids Who Can't Shoot Good and Want to Do Other Stuff Good Too.
