Default Three charged in killing of man who was shot 21 times

A 30-year-old man killed last summer in West Baltimore was shot 21 times with two different handguns, according to documents filed in the charging of three people.

Edward Ellis, 24, and Zebary Pearson Jr., 27, both of Abingdon, and Antoine Dorsey, 22, of Baltimore have been charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Jermaine Blue on July 28, 2012 in the 1400 block of Poplar Grove St.

According to court records, Blue, who lived in the nearby 2900 block of Presstman St., got into an early-morning argument with the three defendants, and Pearson and Ellis began assaulting him when Dorsey pulled out a handgun and shot him several times.

Detective Martin Young wrote that Blue was shot 21 times with two different guns, with crime scene investigators recovering several 9 mm shell casings.
Human life means so little in the ghetto.

All of this could have been avoided if only there was a law in place banning arguing.

Yes, a horrible crime. I guess shooting him 20 times would have been fine with you, but 21 times was too angry?

But when you what to discuss the horrible crime of shooting someone 21 times, feel free. I guess you and your other lodge members are used to this kind of thang.

It is tragic, but it's obvious that's not why you're angry. Hell, that's probably one of the few things that makes you happy, when black people kill one another...

Glad they were caught, charged with 1st degree murder...hopefully they'll be convicted.

Sounds to me like the defendants were standing their ground. Now if we just had a law as awesome as Florida's that allows lethal force in these situations, it would move from murder to justifiable homicide.

Anything can happen with the city jury pool.
