Default With socialism failing at home, France seeks to recolonize Mali...

... under the guise of fighting against an organization and ideology that is supposedly defeated, decimated and back on its heels.

France launched airstrikes Friday to help the government of Mali defeat al-Qaida-linked militants who captured more ground this week, dramatically raising the stakes in the battle for this vast desert nation... The arrival of the French troops in their former colony came a day after the Islamists moved the closest yet toward territory still under government control and fought the Malian military for the first time in months, seizing the strategic city of Konna.
Of course, the religiously bigoted and culturally biased so-called 'AP' has no problems with playing its part in the information operations when it comes to using the terminology of its political masters. That being said, it should come as no surprise that Mali, somehow, represents a vital US national interest and that those who signed up to serve at the whim of politicians will be sacrificed. It should also come as no surprise that the hordes comprising the Myrmidon Brigades, who could not find Mali on a labeled map, will posit that US involvement is for the 'national defense.'

State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said the U.S. was "deeply concerned" by events in Mali, and that Washington was closely consulting with Paris. She said neither France nor Mali has asked for U.S. military assistance.
The translation of 'deeply concerned,' when it comes to the State Department of Incompetency, is that the US is meddling and looking to eat more of its own arse even after its stunning (but predictable and predicted) defeat at the hands of the Taliban.

Not really. It's an apparent attempt by the OP to write in Alex Jones English, which is rapidly becoming the common language used by the Fox Nation.

It differs in the interpretation of the written word because it utilizes a cognitive technique that requires spinning and twisting the meanings of the words to properly translate.

"U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon told the AP that Senegal and Nigeria also responded to an appeal from Mali's president for help to counter the militants."

France has hundreds of troops across western Africa, with bases or sites in places such as Senegal, Ivory Coast, Chad and Gabon. However, Hollande has said that he wants to create a new relationship with former colonies in Africa.

America will follow France again into another quagmire like Vietnam and more recently Libya. Is Africa really becoming a national threat to the US? Really?

Actually, it is Libbie speak. That whole aggressive, imperial, colonial, oppressive Ebeel Whitey Debeel oppressing the Black man thing. It should be something that you, as a government firster, should be able to understand.

The thread title is completely apt. Socialist Hollande's 75% socialist rape and pillage rate was struck down by the French courts and France's economy continues to crater due to the Soviet ideological victory in France. It comes as no surprise, then, that France is seeking to recolonize Africa. Islam will be teaching the French occupiers a lesson that the latter will soon not forget. That the bumbling and stumbling illegitimate US regime is involved in this bit of foreign meddling is no surprise. There is no foreign policy failure of the previous regimes that the current regime is not willing to repeat.

France's racist colonial tail wagging the dog boondoggle is, as expected, not turning out well.

Whether it is to serve as a diversion from the ongoing deterioration in the French economy (purchases of French sovereign bonds by the SNB implying "all is well" notwithstanding), to distract public attention from the recent humiliation (and backfire) of the socialist government's "tax the rich" campaign or for whatever other reason, is unclear for now, but what is clear is that over the past two days France has launched a major airstrike and military campaign against Islamist rebels in northern Mali, the pretext being that control of northern Mali by the rebels posed a security threat to Europe.

What is also clear is that even as France is protecting "European interests" deep in the heart of African darkness, elsewhere in Africa, the socialist country, whose military "expertise" is best known for building impassable fortifications all around perfectly crossable forests, suffered yet another offensive humiliation when not only was a hostage held by Somalian insurgents, al Shabaab, killed during an attempted rescue operation, but a commando from the "rescuing" team was allegedly left behind during the bungled operation. The cherry on top in president Hollande's first major foreign policy excursion is that the same insurgents subsequently released a statement that the hostage was perfectly safe, even as a French pilot was killed in the Mali airstrikes early on in the campaign, all of which probably makes France wish it had just stayed home.
Given that the current US regime is key on not learning from history, it will not be long before the US bungles into another quagmire against an 'on their heels' adversary and is yet again given a taste of its own arse.

    UK getting involved.

Mark Simmonds, minister for Africa, hinted at the move after it was announced last night that the UK would provide military aircraft to transport foreign troops to the country amid a new push against Islamist forces there.

Mr Simmonds told Sky News' Murnaghan programme today: "We may well, through a European Union mechanism, provide training and support for the Malian army to give them strength to bring back the integrity of the Malian country in totality.

"It's absolutely essential, as part of our obligations as a permanent member of the Security Council that we provide assistance when we are requested."

The illegitimate US regime, as predicted, is also getting ready for another round of getting its arse handed to it.

France's foreign minister says the United States is providing communications and transport help for an international military intervention aimed at wresting Mali's north out of the hands of Islamist extremists moderates acting upon the commandments of Allah .

Africa is all about gaining influence. There's a lot of cheap labor.
