I would rather take my chances on one Manning throw for a 7 yard first down than hand the ball back to the Ravens against my secondary that had been shaky all day. If Manning hits a 7 yard over the middle pass, game over. Fox chose to keep the clock running and paid for it.

Absolutely. And that type of coaching causes teams to LOSE. He reminded me a lot of Andy Reid. And that's why those guys just don't win the big ones. You don't win the big ones when you play not to lose. It's that simple.

Let me get this straight; Dierdorf just said Champ can have his hand on the receiver as long as he don't shove him with it. Earlier he said the Ravens defensive back was just asking for a pass interference call by having his hands on the receiver. C'mon man!

Yeah, I caught the hypocrisy on that one too. Williams wasn't pulling (noticeably), just seemed to have his hand on him to maintain coverage. Guys do that all the time. It had no obvious effect on Thomas dropping the ball.
