Again another player fails Joe. What a shame.

So folks, what do you think of Joe now?

    16/34 for 331 yards...3 TDs...0 INTs...0 Fumbles...1 sack taken!

    116.4 Rating!

What about the botched exchange with Birk? Doesn't he get blamed for that "fumble"? (I'M not blaming him; but I think it does go down officially as a QB fumble, even though it was a botched exchange between Joe and Matt.)

You and I have discussed this before...in the minds of the "experts" and some of our fellow "fans", if someone paints the yard line crooked, it's Flacco's fault.

I know. But a fumble did occur. I'll have to go back and check the replay, but it LOOKED like the time in Pittsburgh when Birk snapped it to his own leg, instead of into Joe's hands. This time it looked like Birk snapped the ball to Joe's leg, instead of into Joe's hands, but the center never gets the blame for a bad exchange; it's always the QB. And the stats do show 1 fumble lost.

    LOL!

OK - being the QB though, getting too much blame and sometimes too much credit goes with the job. Lots of $$ and tough broad shoulders need to go with that privlege.

Joe played a great game plain and simple. A victory we can all remember for years to come.

Why pay Joe when we can rely on Tyrod Taylor, LOL.

Seriously pay da man (Deion Sanders phrase), how much do you think he will or should get?

I wonder if TDL still thinks the Ravens should sign Alex freakin Smith now? By the way Kapernick's performance
so far against the Pack is making Smith look less and less valuable.

You all should hear the comments by the "experts" at NFL Network and ESPN?

Tom Waddell, during the highlights, mentioned the following:

    - On Corey Graham's Pick-Six: That should have been a DPI
    - On Broncos' 35 DPI: How can that be called???
    - On Champ Bailey's DPI: He's a veteran and that DPI should not have been called...
    - On the 59-yd TD pass to Torry: Where was the safety??? (nothing at all about the route,
    pass or catch!)
    - On the 2nd TD pass to Torrey: That pass should have been intercepted! (again, only a
brief mention about the pass and the nice adjustment made by Torrey Smith)
    - On the TD to Jacoby: How can the Safety let someone behind him?? (Nothing about
Jones speed or the perfect pass)
    - On Flacco: Great game but needs to be more consistent....

All over national TV, we can hear this drivel!

Props to the Oline, Ellerbe, Graham, Torrey and Jacoby Jones. All illustrated why it takes a team to win games like these. Flacco played well and avoided the costly TOs but some folks are too over the top in their mancrush....like Peej!

How does recapping his stats constitute a man crush?

How does recapping the anti-Ravens coverage on the national nutcase-works constitute a man crush?

Let's turn it around on the weenie (aptly named)...Flacco did more than just "...played well and avoided the costly TOs..." sound to me like a man-hate!

Ridiculing my moniker. LOL, thanks for clarifying your character. Beyond those superficial elements, you've proven yourself unworthy of further consideration.

The Ravens played well as a team and Joe stayed within himself. A tremendous win for all who care for the Ravens!

The best was Dierdorf. When the 5 yard penalty was called for hitting the receiver 5 yards downfield he said this will be called everytime as the defender had his hand on the receivers shoulder ,than he says the dpi should not have been called on Denver because the db is allowed to have his hand on the back of the receiver as long as he doesn't turn him. So I guess if it is a Raven doing the touching it is a fould but if the other team does the touching it is okay?lol

Exactly. I loved how deirdork was apologizing for the Browncorns secondary when the Ravens would get a first down. Like they weren't allowed or something, I swear we need to not have that guy call any more Ravens games
