    Default Historical choke job

I would cut that safety in the locker room.

He got way too conservative on third downs at the end of the game. He trusted his defense and they proved that was a mistake.

you're being too kind. The Ravens neck was on the block, and he refused to swing the axe.

It was a big mistake, but to the Ravens' credit, they made a LOT of big plays.

The biggest on a ball that is intercepted 9 times out of 10 to end the game.

The worst call of the game was running the ball on third and 7 in regulation rather than going for the first down. The time they ran off the clock did not matter given the way their secondary had played most of the game. Fox played scared and it cost him. I would trust Manning with a third down throw before I would trust a defense that could not stop the big play all game long.

This is awesome, even ESPN is saying that this "this loss goes down with the most devastating in Denver history"!!!!

    Link: http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=330112007

Combined, the mistakes nullified a record-setting day for returner Trindon Holliday, who returned a punt 90 yards for a touchdown and a kickoff 104 yards for another score. Both were playoff records for longest returns, as was the 248 total return yards he had.

    All for naught.

This was, more or less, the unthinkable for the Broncos (13-4), who came in on an 11-game winning streak and the odds-on favorite, at 3-1, to win the Super Bowl, in Manning's hometown of New Orleans, no less.

Instead, this loss goes down with the most devastating in Denver history. Right there with the 30-27 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Jan. 4, 1997 -- another year when Denver looked very much like Super Bowl material.

Just wonder who the OP picked to win? If he picked the Bronco's he should cut his wrists...

Why don't you challenge him to a bench press contest?

    I disagree.

Sometimes you make the riight decision (running on 3rd and 7 and keeping the clock running), but lose anyway. Fox made the right decision, but his 3rd-rated defense failed him and the team.

The Ravens had no time outs and the punter put them in poor field position. A coach would expect an average defense to prevail 99 percent of the time.

Well I think their fans along with the Hand Wringing National Sports Media are planning to bring a Class Action Lawsuit against the Redskin Coaching and Medical Staff for playing The Baby Jesus, RG KNEE hurt for a half. Aside from that, not much.

loon....if he made the right decision the play would have been successful. See how that works.

You should challenge someone to a making stuff up contest. Then you can see who has the smallest weenie. I am sure you will win both.

Two years in a row the lesser team wins in Denver in the divisional round.

The Ravens big boys upfront on offense and defense out played the Broncos big boys, the better team won.
