A true "historic choke job" is losing... a 14 point lead at home (which rarely happens), in the playoffs (which rarely happens), to a team from the west coast that's traveled all the way east (which rarely happens).
I mean, really, what are the odds of an east coast team blowing a 14 point lead and losing to a west coast team... in the pressure cooker of a playoff game? Pretty slim I would bet.
Of course, had the Ravens lost the Superbowl, that would have been a historic choke. But... they didn't. They made the plays and held on.

The Niners and Ravens were both on the bad side of some questionable calls/non-calls, just like any other game.
Bottom line, the Ravens are Super Bowl Champs and theres nothing you can say or do to change it.

Whatever his agenda, he's right. PI, holding, etc. should not have been called on that play. Both players made contact, and it's got to be a pretty blatant hold/PI to warrant a flag at the end of the SB.
They made the right non-call.
And speaking of agendas, yours becomes clearer with every post. You just cannot accept that the Ravens are SB Champs.

The difference here is that Pereira was the Director of Officiating, not just another "former ref". Looking at all the angles that have been shown, Crabtree initiated the contact by running the wrong route and bumping into Smith. Then, they exhibited some handfighting culminating with Crabtree pushing Sith to the ground. So if you think about it logically, and not through your hate-tinged, anti-Ravens glasses, you have to admit that multiple infractions occurred on that play.
