Well, I'm proud to say that I have never witnessed a KKK rally, nor would I subject myself to such hatred, but if you were comfortable witnessing it, what can I say?

So you are a republican then based on your post I take it?

So what have the republicans done with regard to guns? Do you think they are racist?

    You are incorrect.

    I "demand" nothing.

You are amusement to me, nothing more.
Any poster who offers nothing of relevance to the thread except to merely sit around and repeadly challenge others is dead weight.

Until you demonstrate that you are capable of responding with YOUR OWN coherent and logical argument to challenge the other posters, perhaps your posts should be taken with the grain of salt that they are worth. Personally, I question whether you possess enough intellectual material to intelligently argue SoSad's excellent points.

SoSad, I honestly do not know but I think everyone as to be careful since Sandy Hook to decide what needs to be done to prevent another such event.

Whoa, how ironic was that statement.

Listen/read anything, and it's always about trying to find fault. Pointing fingers is what we have become. Not saying it's right. But that's reality.
Is is very real Slapshot, but we can give up on being better. Even if it is a tough endeavour.

Teachers need to be armed. Do you realize that the Aurora, Colorado shooter purposefully screened which movie house to terrorize based on which theater disallowed guns? (You are legally allowed to pack heat in Denver). Holmes drove 20 minutes further to find the Cinemark theater which banned guns.

There is no way in hell more gun control should be implemented. Gun control advocates are denialists who have no real-world concept of the diminishing effect that an armed populace has against would be criminals.

I work in a school and have kids still in school so having teachers armed is something I am not sold on yet. That being said I do not have all the answers.

In order to judge whether the statement is accurate or ironic, it assumes that the judge is capable of discerning the difference.

It's a brave new world, Mom. Disarm the good guys and all you got left is armed bad guys.

That's impossible. I get bashed for not towing the party line on this board.

Where I live, many of us agree and are from the same party. Funny how that works.

Democrats have never apologized for their racist past, and I find that to be disgusting. I would feel the same way with republicans if the shoe were on the other foot.

Arming teachers is one of the dumbest ideas I've heard in a long time. If a student wanted to get a hold of a gun they could easily overpower most teachers. Not to mention most teachers just would not be comfortable walking around the classroom or the school with a gun. It's lunacy.

I hear what you are saying but I am weary. If schools decide that needs to be done I will comply.

At the same time if a teacher had a gun hopefully it would be a concealed weapon.

Who is threatening to disarm anyone? Oh that's right, no one.

What else do you think a group needs to apologize for before we can move forward?

Again, not many teachers would be comfortable traipsing around the school with a concealed weapon.
