    Default My favorite moment

What a game. I;d have to say my favorite moment was when the broncos had the ball during their last possession before overtime when it seemed the broncos all but won. They showed the owners box and john elways big ugly face smiling and laughing. Then they just starting talking how he built a powerhouse with Peyton, etc etc

    Not so fast CBS

    haha

    sorry johnny
might as well of kept timmy, at least he can handle a little cold weather

Remains to be seen whether it leads to the same end result... but I have to say now... the two biggest plays in Ravens history... 1) Anthony Mitchell's blocked FG return for a TD, and 2) Jacoby Jones getting behind the safety (not dropping the ball!) and scoring that TD.

I will never, ever get tired of watching that highlight...

My favorite moment was Manning's last pass. It finally wiped that smirk off his face I've been seeing the whole game.

John's time might have been better spent calling down to the sideline and telling his coach to try and pick up a first down rather than just run the ball to take time off of the clock. His coach blew it by playing conservative and leaving it up to his defense. There was too much time left to risk giving the ball back to a Raven's team that had burned his secondary all game long.

Manning was making the 3rd and seven all night. What a great call to run the ball..for the Ravens!!

The play of Jacoby of course, but that Jimmy Smith open field tackle during that punt was pretty amazing being as though dude was killing us all night. Jimmy got a read on him and did the job.

Not necessarily my favorite moment, but one play that keeps coming to my mind was a late-game third down running play when Ray Rice was stopped standing, and Marshall Yanda shoved him forward for a crucial first down. What was Marshall doing out there? Just a gutsy, heads-up play by a quality veteran team player. I think that is a prime example of "playing like a Raven."

Folks, I have a thought! (I know! Take an aspirin and it will go away.)

Is it possible that all of the disrespect piled on Flacco by the national pundits backfired?

I have heard the same pundits carp that the safety was too shallow, but I saw it differently: Jones had already beaten the CB and was open down the sideline. Had Flacco thrown one of his back shoulder passes where Jones merely steps out of bounds for a 30-yd completion.

What did Flacco do? While on the move, threw a 55-yard pass with enough air under it to allow Jones to make an adjustment---the catch--- and the TD!

Watching the replay shows me that Moore might have seriously underestimated Flacco's arm strength. Could that be a "reputation" reaction?

Not dropping it was definitely key.

That was definitely a "beast" of a play. I was literally laughing when I saw it. And I was screaming at the TV: "Look...he just moved the whole pile 2 yards all by himself. What a beast!!"

(I was also wondering if it was a legal move, but who cares, right?!!!)

I believe the TD pass from Dilfer to Shannon in Oakland was a critical one too.

I glad Ray and the Ravens finally shook the Peyton monkey off of thier back. I'm glad it was Peyton's CB getting beat like a drum instead of seeing CMAC get beat by Peyton for years.

It would be nice to see Ray go out by go through and taking down all of the elite sybols of his era, such as Peyton, the Patroits.

I liked that too- there were also crowd shots and the Broncos fans were breaking out in the ganghum style dance, the party was on........ or, so they thought.

Manning's lack of arm strength now is an issue and Flacco is actually better now at throwing the deep ball than Peyton. Glad the Broncos defense is so stupid not to respect it.
