My favorite moment: when the clock expired and the Broncos lost and Eric Deckers trash talking to Harbaugh earlier in the game blew up in his face. That D Bag had it coming.

Watching some highlights today, I think the play I mention above was not just a "late game" first down, but was in the second overtime and was the first down that really got the Ravens within field goal range. Just awesome.
And, yeah, I was wondering about whether it was legal or not. If so, why not have a lineman trail every running play just in case a shove is needed? Maybe in fact that is routine and I just don't notice. Anyway, it was a great play by a couple of great players at a great moment, and that is what it is all about, right?
What Yanda did was block one of the Broncos and, as a result, pushed the entire pile. That is a legal play. Remember in the 2010 playoff game at NE, Rice was being tackled at the 1st down line of gain and Yanda did the same thing (blocked a Pats player and pushed the pile 2 more yards.
What an OLman can not do is grab the RB and try to pull him forward.
One big play that's overlooked is the 3rd and 13 in OT from our own 3 when Flacco hit Pitta for a long gain close to the 30. If that pass fails, we're punting from our end zone against the wind. At best, Manning wouldn't have to take the Broncos that far for a winning FG.
YES !
What I liked was that it was a play over the middle for more than the yardage needed for a 1st down, instead of a 3 yard dump off or iffy out pattern,
followed by a punt.
Had it been intercepted, it really would not have mattered, as the Broncos probably would have started inside the 50 after the punt. So going for something gutsy,
Followed by the punt and tackle, forcing Denver to start inside their 10.
And the winning FG. Can't give the ST an 'F' because of those two plays.
Denver missing the 52 yard FG, which gave the Ravens their best starting position of the half. And then stopping Denver on a 3-and-out after the fumbled snap.
