    Default Go ravens

I truly did not believe the Ravens would win last night. I thought this team just was not good enough. I agreed with Preston a few weeks ago that this team may be one of the worst 9-2 teams ever. This win is probably my third favorite win ever right behind the Titan's win in the playoffs in 2000 and the first Jaguars win.
When the Ravens tied it up at the end of the 4th qtr, it crossed my mind that maybe they should go all in and go for the two point conversion. The defense looked extremely fatigued at that point and I didn't think they had any gas left to stop anyone. Again, I was wrong.
With that said, the Broncos really got conservative on offense in a few instances which really surprised me.
Flacco was ON! You never know what you are going to get with Flacco. He can look like a Brady, such as last night, or he can look like a dud. He shredded the number two defense in the league. I sure hope he is ON these next two games because I wonder if our window is closed after this year. Anyway, this is one of the best wins of all time for this franchise. Go Ravens!!!!

I guess that's about as much as anyone can expect from a Flacco basher/Cameron apologist like you. Whatever. You'll never "get" that Flacco's "inconsistencies" were inextricably linked to Cam Cameron. There's NO WAY Joe gets the production he got yesterday if Cameron had still been the OC. NO WAY.

i am glad we won last night. however we do the same thing all the time RAY RICE up the middle for maybe 2 yards every time and all the teams know this. all the fans know this it does not work.. it is still CAM CAMRON,s play calling. it stinks. we need to upgrade our play calling.

Yes and no. The Ravens definitely missed Pierce, but he got hurt and Rice was trying to take his place, but did not do as good a job. It's a fine line with the Ravens offense. You HAVE to run the ball to keep the defenses honest, and to keep Manning off the field. Ray Rice got 30 touches, and no passes. That's in the Jamal Lewis range. But the O-line did a slightly better job, and it was necessary in that instance. It was NOT the same Cam Cameron offense. They rolled Joe out more, and, in fact, I thought the first half had too many long/high risk passes, and not enough short/mid range shots over the middle. So in a way, yes, it was similar to Cameron's offense, but better. And good enough to secure the "W". Joe is playing with more confidence, more players are getting involved, and the results speak for themselves. Maybe the biggest difference is that I'm sure Caldwell is more open to input/feedback from his players, whereas Cameron was not.

This is exactly why so many people think you are such a JA.

Wayyyyyy too many runs on first down imo...especially late in the game.
