I was actually hoping the Texans would somehow win an ugly game here. Despite the first result in Houston, feel like that would be a better match-up now.

First off congrats to you all for an excellent victory in Denver yesterday. I have always said that Joe Flacco has become one heck of a quarterback. Secondly, I think the Ravens match up as well as any other team in the league to to the Patriots. Beating the Pats twice in one season is a tall order. I think the Ravens can do it. Good luck next week.

Yep, incredibly accurate. Have to do what they did yesterday to the Broncos, play tight physical coverage, and knocks guys off their routes. Let him throw timing routes and try to react in zone, forget it. A handful of illegal contacts would be better to me than letting Welker and company run around untouched.

Big difference between Brady and Manning at THIS point, Brady seems better to me at reading coverage (hard to believe) and making quick, HARD and accurate throws.

Offense will have to put up another 35+ spot next week I think...

Ravens play the Pats as tough or tougher than anyone. Should be a good game next week, AND a chance to show that without Lee Evans, and Cam Cameron, the Ravens are a handful, to say the least.

I agree. I think Manning's neck surgery has left him without a lot of zip on the ball. I think the other big difference is that Brady will throw deep while Manning seems to need to settle for dink and dunk. But the key on both is still bringing pressure. If you let either sit back in the pocket without quick pressure, they will find somebody open.

But it has to be a specific type of pressure. Up the middle pressure. Otherwise, he reads the blitzes and shreds D's with quick release type passes.

Hahaha, I love how all these so-called "experts" () are calling the game for the Patriots already even though since 07 just about all of the games have literally gone down to the wire. I can see if we were going against the Manning led Colts when they used to handily destroy us. You can't judge how we matchup against the Patriots based upon a soft Houston team who looked scared today. I got the Ravens winning next week.

Can't see how anyone who honestly and unbiasedly watches and analyzes football can call this game either way. This is a true tossup. Ravens have some real momentum from their two playoff wins, but New England is home and has a funny little habit of not losing games to get to the superbowl when they play in New England. Ravens have used a lot of emotional capital the last two weeks, but I don't see that being an issue given what is at stake. I think the game comes down to who makes the fewest mistakes and is able to run their offensive game plan to the best. Neither defense looks like it is good enough to shut down the other for an entire game. Should be a very entertaining and intense game. Early line is New England -9 1/2. That's way too much given the way these two teams have played each other the last several times.

I gave always been surprsed at the heat Flacco gets from your fan base and have posted same.

He has put an outstanding performance on tape and Sunday was amazing. You guys have a good shot and good luck.
