No/little down time due to sick employees. Productivity is more predictable.

Of course there will still have to be some human interaction...but, like what automation did back at the turn of the century, robotics will reduce the number of humans required to perform a menial task.

The upshot of the 60 Minutes program was - robotics may help to bring industries back to the US, but it won't necessarily help to cure the unemployment problem.
