By this weekend Romo's team was available to hit the golf course every year since he has been there. On the other hand, this is Flacco's third championship game. True he hasn't won one yet, but he has a substantially better chance to win one since he actually plays in some of them.
and once again you fail to point out that

HC is better here in Baltimore
FO is better here in Baltimore
Offensive Line is better here in Baltimore
Running Back is better here in Baltimore

but despite all that Romo continues to have us on the cusp

    carry on

Elite is irrelevant. Winning and losing is what counts.

    Just win baby.

What kind of QB do we have?

Most wins in the last five years (5 better than Rogers and Ryan)
Most road playoff wins in NFL history (1 more than P. Manning and R. Staubaugh)
Outplayed Luck, Manning and Brady (twice) - three of four on the road

You can sneer at us "pretending to have an elite quarterback", but what we are not pretending is that we have a SB quarterback!

    What do you have?

Rank Schmank. He beat 2 HOF qbs on the road. Big arm, big heart, big plays. Good for him, he's taken a lot of heat. Nice to see a nice guy finish first!!

And cool head. He basically never changes his facial expressions, but when the Ravens lose, he's tagged with "that DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS" look; when he wins, he's "Joe Cool". In MY book, he's always Joe Cool, win, lose, or draw.

Where does he rank? He's the best QB the Ravens have ever had. Beyond that, who cares?! Just win, that's not even the main thing -- it's the only thing.

But IMO he is what he is which is a middle of the pack QB. Not great and certainly not elite but clearly not a bum either.
    Flacco is no Matt Ryan.

    Thank goodness.

But at least Ryan broke his 0-fer streak in the playoffs and now has one win.

Eli, Peyton and Brady are top 3. If Joe wins against SF #4, he'll have as many SB wins as Bress and Rogers.

Not to mention as many as Peyton!
