Default We didn't come all this way just to stop now.

This should be the Ravens battle cry from here on in. I have seen teams just go flat after a big come back win in the past and these guys need to be reminded it ain't over til it's over.

Now after all this and the injuries they had during the year the Ravens are only w/o Webb and no matter how you slice it I like their chances. Go Ravens.....

p.s. Also Cam is gone now.lol

I honestly think this team is better now than the team that was 9-2. The o-line is better, the defense is healthier than it's been in awhile and Cam Cameron is finally gone. This team has gotten better and better over the last month and Saturday's game proves it. We really handled Denver on both sides of the ball compared to what they did to us the first time.

Outsiders are judging this team on that 3 game losing streak but they fail to see all the changes that have been made on this team and how much better we are because of them. We beat New England when we were an ok team and now we're a 9 1/2 point underdog? Throw in the loss of Gronk and I can't see it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we go up there and manhandle the Pats again like we did a few years ago.

On behalf of the city of Baltimore, i'd like to wish Tom Brady the best of luck in the pro bowl this year.

The 9 1/2 point spread is a joke. The last time these two teams played a game that was anywhere close to that kind of margin of victory was in 2009 in the playoffs, and it was the RAVENS winning by 19 points.

I hope they keep getting overlooked. I hope everyone thinks they have no chance. The less they prepare, the less seriously they're taken, the better.

My sense is that the Ravens are not being overlooked. Several (perhaps too many) "analysts" or talk show guys are giving them credit and even picking them. VERY few are on board with the point spread. And who cares if the talking heads overlook them. Belichick and Brady are not overlooking them.

As with every game, we will need some bounces to go our way in the turnover battle. The pats have been one of the top 2 or 3 teams in takeaways. They traded for a top corner at mid-season and we lost our top corner.

But beyond those usual turnover, fair officiating, penalty things that need to go right, the Ravens will need to have their best tackling game. The patriots make thier living off the 3-5 yard pass and the 7-8 yard YAC and every one of those I see starts with at least 1 missed tackle then they guy picks up a block and the rest is a disaster for the defense.

The only person I've heard picking Baltimore is Scott Van Pelt. Everyone else thinks it's going to be a slaughter.

You can't take the point spread and simply say somebody thinks the Patriots are 9 1/2 points better than the Ravens. Nobody took an analysis of all the data and came up with that. The point spread starts with roughly 3 points to the home team. Then they take an average of points scored / points against. But most importantly, the spread is put up with the idea of getting an equal amount of wagering on both sides. Certain teams attract more bettors to begin with. New England is one of those teams. The point spread may be seem inflated, but the idea is to even out the betting money so that the books don't take in more on New England. If a lot of people start jumping on the Ravens, you will see that 9 1/2 come down. If more money is still coming in on New England, then it will go to 10 or higher.
