In the end, it's the consumers who dictate prices and consequently where the products they buy where will be made.
If a consumer goes into a store and the only selection is imported goods, there is not a lot a consumer to do, to support US made goods.

I try to buy American all the time, many times there are no American made goods to select from.

A company like Walmart with its huge buying volume could actually make a massive impact by significantly increasing the purchase and sales of goods made in the US.

If that should happen, look for most consumers to complain that US made goods cost 10 to 20 percent more.

I agree with that. Now let's say Wal Mart ups the ante and states that "It is the corporate stance of Wal Mart to give maximum hiring preference to all veterans", that would be real. If Walmart is serious in helping our vets, then offer them full time positions, with full benefits, and a competitive salary, as well as educational assistance. Equally any one working at Walmart deserves these options also.
