    .

The title of this thread is complete BS and propaganda.

There is no "targeting" of the President's kids.

The ad actually "targets" Obama for being a hypocrite.

The NRA is taking Obama to task for being skeptical about putting armed security in all schools.

Why don't the school children of average Americans deserve better protection?

The money that will be wasted on a Government boondoggle of "universal" background checks and registration would be better spent on school security for our children.

If I paid dues to a group that had acted so freakin stupid, I suppose I would be as testy as all these NRA altar hugging members are. Cut them all a break.

The first. There should be no special privileges for the 'nobility' or its spawn (especially when such special privileges are paid for by those that the nobility is seeking to oppress and repress).

Indeed... each and every time a fascist in government or one of their enablers propounds his or her government first line of rubbish.

    Good point.

The act by the NRA of attacking the presidents children is not only cowardly but desperate. Any member with a 1/3 of a brain would denouce targeting the presidents children.

Obama's children were not attacked. I have to wonder if you actually saw the ad. Obama was criticized for being a hypocrite.

Nevermind, you're just another one of the hoplophobes posting BS.

I own a few guns but never had the desire to join the NRA, out of curiosity I went to their website to see the benefits of joining this group, which has lost its way.

Here is some of what I found:
Insurance for you and your guns
    A choice of magazines
    Membership card and decal
    Shooters cap
24/7 defense of your 2nd amendment rights

I still have no desire to join, especially now since they seem perplexed.

Note: NRA members feel free to add on if I missed a benefit.

The NRA should be able to put up an argument on guns without targeting the man kids. Hell even convicts know that. Thats why rapist and pedophiles are put in protective custody.

Please point out how the president's children were "targeted."

    Obama's kids were not "targeted".

But you keep repeating that talking point because it is blatant BS and it minimizes any credibility you may have had.
