The test is repeated multiple times, with a different set of 10 words each time. Over the aggregate, it could be more than 100 words (or more).

If he did indeed graduate from law school, then he should be familiar with the concepts of variance, mean, standard deviation, sigma, etc.

Actually, I ran across this study in response to articles that alleged there was a correlation between crime and intelligence. No surprises. This finding, although hardly scientific, is simply a byproduct of these other articles.

Did this start somewhere else or did he just start in this thread? The response was really disproportionate.

Having a position that is more pragmatic than ideological can draw the disdain of many around here, sometimes from two or more sides at once. This is certainly one of those issues that can draw out two extreme sides (firearms are a great evil vs. firearms are the most important thing in existence).

Loaded question.

It's not about what I believe.

Nevertheless, the person who conducted these tests, said that certain ethnic groups do score lower on this test. It's a well known fact that certain ethic groups score lower (mean scores) on standardize tests, such as the SAT. Does this translate into "inherently lower intelligence" than other groups? I doubt it. But I will say this about intelligence - there is innate, or inherent intelligence (ie, the genes we are born with), and then there's learned intelligence.
